Detroit Impact is a youth center established to work with the youth in our community to teach, mentor, guide, motivate, and encourage them.
We are creating a Detroit where every student graduates ready to become a fully engaged participant in the world, equipped with the character and the capacity to negotiate her environment and change it for the better.
To develop youth’s bicycling and leadership skills in the city of Detroit.
To break the cycle of poverty, illiteracy, and low expectations through service and education.
To empower families to be able to live self-determined lives in their community, and to provide support to individuals, organizations and communities in order to assist individuals and families to achieve greater independence.
To facilitate the enjoyment and understanding of our natural, historical and archaeological resources as relevant to the Saginaw valley, to promote environmental awareness and to foster responsible stewardship.
To engage people in music to enrich the cultural life of the community.

Providing temporary shelter and empowering a pathway to self-sufficiency for people experiencing homelessness in our community.
Committed to serving the community by telling the continuing story of the people of the Saginaw region through exploration, preservation, and presentation of their historical and cultural heritage.
