The Dominican Literacy Center enables learners to transform their lives by acquiring skills to become successful parents, productive workers and responsible citizens. This mutual collaboration in adult literacy is a contemporary expression of the Adrian Dominican Sisters’ commitment to education.

For nearly 100 years, we’ve been making grants in Kent County, helping nonprofits prosper and students succeed. We do this with the help of generous donors and the expertise of grantees.

To provide an onsite workplace for college interns that strategically place students in placemaking initiatives that foster best practices and create educational opportunities for practical experience in marketing, public relations and event management, with the promise of connecting interns with nonprofit organizations through a consulting management network.

To offer culturally relevant, transformative art and design experiences to youth from all backgrounds.

The Fenton Community Orchestra’s purpose is to provide a place for musicians of all ages to connect through music by providing an educational and entertaining music program both for its members and its audiences.
