The mission of the Keweenaw Family Resource Center is to support, enrich, and strengthen family life in the Keweenaw Peninsula by providing a variety of programs that focus on families with children from birth through four years of age.

To assist with unmet healthcare needs, with health education, and with programs and research on preventing illness and promoting health in the Upper Peninsula.

Preventing generational poverty through financial literacy by cultivating healthy financial literacy environments for underserved communities through early education, entrepreneurship opportunities, and engaged advocacy.

To create extraordinary academic achievement especially among urban students, to prepare them to assume leadership roles in careers as entrepreneurs, physicians, nurses, research scientists, and in other professions.
