How you help Our volunteers and mentors play a crucial role in our programming for teen girls. Our volunteers provide support at programming activities as well as annual events such as Give and Get Fit and the RWF Cares Christmas Celebration for homeless families. We believe every teen girls deserves a caring mentor to help guide and support her as she navigates her way through high school and transitions to college. Our mentors are devoted, professional women who are committed to our mission of empowerment.

Girls are nominated for admission into our award-wining five-year comprehensive Girls into Women Program by one of our five Detroit partner schools the spring before they enter the 8th grade by one of our partner schools.
