Mentors are asked to commit to at least 18 months of being matched in the program with two program options to mentor within. The Community Based option meets in the community, 2-4 times per month. The School Based option meets weekly during the school year during the mentee's lunch time. All matches are professionally supported to ensure child safety and success of the match. Upon initial orientation, mentors receive two hours of required pre-match training to prepare them to work with at-risk youth. A mentor in the program can be any caring adult that wants to make a difference in the life of a child in their community.
