The majority of volunteer roles are during the Festival weekend, but there are volunteer opportunities before and after the event.

Assist with special events at the farm.

The Petting Farm is home to about 100 traditional and non-traditional farm animals, including cows, horses, donkeys, llamas, alpacas, pigs, sheep, goats, ducks, chickens, peacocks, cats and a bearded dragon. Volunteers help us care for all of these animals.

At the Petting Farm we are committed to educate children, families, school students and all visitors in a fun and interactive environment.

Assist with our Children’s Program. Children ages 1-5 will get to hear stories, sing songs, play games, explore activities, and get to know our animals!

Assist in the office performing administrative tasks that keep us running smoothly.

Assist with pony rides to provide an enriching hands-on experience.

Put your green thumb to use and assist with landscaping.

Groups can volunteer to assist with one time projects on the farm.

There is always a need for extra hands to assist with maintenance around the farm.
