Vision Statement

For SoHope, we envision an organization dedicated to the impactful reduction of the circumstances that hinder success within our community: poverty, crime, illiteracy, homelessness, and all social ills that plague our society. We envision a living, evolving organization that strives to better not only the community but ourselves as well. We provide training, educational opportunities, and a sustainable business model that empowers our board, staff, and constituents with equitable and fair employment guidance, knowledge, and transformational servant leadership. We will create leaders at the forefront of innovation and change for the communities wherever they reside, be it in Detroit or Dubai. We will transform the way philanthropy and charitable services are viewed around the world by influencing and empowering those we see every day.
