Communities First, Inc. is a housing organization and they are mobilizing 250 volunteers to contribute art in the form of poems, paintings, drawing and music to collectively be included in an art installment that an artist will assemble and will be housed at one of the community housing sites.
Volunteers may contribute art in person by picking up a kit at the Flint Library or submitting the art electronically. The art pieces are collected until the January 20th and the artist will begin assembling items for a unveiling in February. Items may be collected electronically by emailing [email protected]

Notes from the organizer: All events hosted in partnership with the PIC on the National Day of Service must comply with the following guidelines as well as the most up-to-date CDC and local health and safety guidance. Those guidelines could include indoor and outdoor gathering and capacity limits, social distancing, and travel restrictions.
