Our mission is to provide shelter and adoption of companion animals, reduce overpopulation, extend humane education, prevent cruelty, and provide those services that promote the goals and polices of the Humane Society of Genesee County.

To improve the quality of life and welfare for domestic animals and to provide a safe haven while finding life long homes for the animals in our care. We embrace the No Kill Philosophy, seeking to end the euthanasia of animals.

To reduce the number of homeless cats & dogs by paying for needed medical treatment and assisting with the permanent placement of these animals through our partnerships with local rescue groups.

To encourage relationships between humans and animals and to provide compassionate care to those who have no human companions.

We have a simple motto here – cats rule. We focus all of our time, energy, and resources into what is best for the cats in our care. New Beginnings Animal Rescue is a No-Kill, 501(c)(3) Exempt, Non-Profit cat rescue.

Lead the no-kill movement by rescuing, rehabilitating, re-homing and providing a place of refuge for homeless dogs, while also providing a haven for the pets belonging to domestic violence survivors.

We work to prevent cruelty to animals, and place adoptable pets into good, permanent homes with responsible owners and promote spaying and neutering to prevent overpopulation.

To facilitate the enjoyment and understanding of our natural, historical and archaeological resources as relevant to the Saginaw valley, to promote environmental awareness and to foster responsible stewardship.
