Our mission	To create fresh, original productions that get our audiences talking among themselves and feeling something new.

Opportunities	Ushering The Purple Rose welcomes volunteer ushers throughout the season! We ask all ushers to arrive one hour before show time to assist our House Manager, help patrons to their seats, and manage coat check during the winter months. This is a wonderful way to help your favorite non-profit theatre and see a show for free! We can use 2-4 ushers per performance. Weekly, Monthly 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor Formal Evenings, Weekends Development/Event Volunteers We welcome anyone with varying time commitments to join our Development/Event volunteer team! If you are interested in development or helping with special events please contact our admin office to sign up for more opportunities! Occasional, Monthly 55+, Adults Individuals Office work, Event support, Indoor None, On-site Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends

How you help	As a nonprofit, we rely on the generosity of others to help us carry out our efforts. It’s that effort, however big or small, that goes directly to helping our theatre grow!

About us	The Purple Rose Theatre Company (PRTC) is the home of world-class, original American theatre. The PRTC is a professional theatre company with roots in the Midwest that takes a handcrafted, artisanal approach to producing new and classic American plays that are nothing less than one-of-a-kind experiences. The PRTC is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit professional theatre operating under a Small Professional Theatre agreement with the Actors’ Equity Association.
