Community Volunteer

Any person and/or group that provides service through donations, fundraising, or time spent doing a one-time project. This may include such things as seasonal decorating, planting flower beds, making cookies, etc.

Event Volunteer

Many hands make light work. Our development director is always seeking volunteers to assist with carrying out the details of planning and implementing our events. This opportunity perfect for creative individuals and/or those for whom its fun to generate excitement and enthusiasm in others.

Advocate Volunteer

Assists with providing comfort to anxious and distressed children before/after their interview. When child abuse investigators are meeting with the children’s parents, children will be supervised by this volunteer. Activities include reading, art projects, puzzles, etc.

Masters Level Intern

Masters level counseling and social work students who require practicum experience may volunteer at the Center. They will be supervised by TBCAC staff and offsite school practicum advisers.

Facility Volunteer

About us Traverse Bay Children’s Advocacy Center is the first stop for children in the Grand Traverse region who are suspected victims of sexual abuse, physical abuse, and being a witness to violence.
