Sometimes guinea pigs need a lift—to vet appointments, foster homes, or adoption events. If you have reliable transportation and a little extra time, you can be a lifesaver on the road.
Open your home to guinea pigs in need of temporary care. Cozy Cavy provides guidance and support—fosters provide safe housing, daily care, and lots of love until the pigs are ready for adoption.
Be part of the Cozy Cavy team by lending a hand where it’s needed most! General volunteers might provide support behind-the-scenes tasks. Whether you have a few hours now and then or want a regular role, your time and care make a real difference for our cavies.
Join the Cozy Cavy leadership team and help guide the direction of our rescue! Leadership volunteers support decision-making, program planning, volunteer coordination, and big-picture strategy. This role is great for those with experience in nonprofit management, animal rescue, or team leadership who want to make a lasting impact. Flexible commitment with regular check-ins.
Keep our cavies healthy and happy by helping with regular cage cleanings. Volunteers change bedding, refresh food and water, and make sure the pigs have a safe, comfortable space. Training is provided, and shifts are flexible.
Love connecting with people? Join us at adoption events, community fairs, and fundraisers! Volunteers help with setup, greeting visitors, sharing information, and supporting families interested in adopting guinea pigs.
