Our mission	We exist to demonstrate God’s love and foster sustainable change through services that build relationships, meet family needs, and promote a healthier community.

Opportunities	After School Program How can you make a difference in the life of students in your neighborhood? Our after school programs are a safe place for middle school students to learn, grow, and just have fun. We’re always looking for mentors to lead games, facilitate activities, and act as a shoulder to lean on for our kids. Tuesdays and Wednesdays 4:00-6:00pm Weekly, Monthly 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor Formal Weekdays World Cup Readers Summer Camp The opportunities to stay active and keep learning continue all summer long for Streams of Hope students! Serve with our summer camp staff to facilitate games, encourage a love of reading, and form lasting relationships with students. Mondays 5:30pm-7:00pm. Weekly 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor, Outdoor Formal Weekdays Food Center The Food Center provides supplemental food to hundreds of families each month. Do you have a smiling face and a willingness to keep our Food Center clean, well-stocked, and accessible? We want to meet you! Occasional, Weekly, Monthly Teens, 55+, Adults, Child with Adult Individuals, Groups (2-10) Indoor On-site Weekdays, Evenings Community Garden Do you have a green thumb? Do you like to work hard and enjoy being outdoors? Our community garden is always in need of extra love and care from a neighbor like you. Occasional, Monthly 55+, Adults Individuals, Groups (2-10) Outdoor None, On-site Weekdays, Weekends Homework Help & Tutoring We all love to see students succeed – and sometimes the largest factor in their success is the help of a friend! If you have skills in tutoring and education at the middle and high school level, we’d love to meet you. Tuesdays 4:00-6:00pm. Weekly, Monthly 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor Formal, Skilled Weekdays

How you help	We are so thankful for the many people who make this work possible. We believe the key to community revitalization is just that – the community. As a result of the generous community that supports Streams of Hope, we are able to continue serving our neighbors and fostering long-term, sustainable change.

About us	Streams of Hope is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization following the model established by the Christian Community Development Association. As a longstanding organization in our community, we have continually sought to plant the seeds of positive change in our neighborhood and demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way. And what does our neighborhood look like? The Townline area of Southern Kent County is home to a resilient population—families who work hard to provide for their children and want to make their neighborhood a safe, thriving area. Our community has needs that far outweigh the resources of one person or organization, however. That’s why Streams of Hope utilizes existing resources and creates new partnerships to empower men and women, care for students, and foster healthier families.
