Our mission

To build self-sufficiency skills for academic and employment success, personal achievement and dignity.

What we do

St. Vincent and Sarah Fisher (SVSF) Center provides educational programs, basic skill building and learning enhancement for at-risk children and adults, designed to build self-sufficiency skills for academic and employment success, personal achievement and dignity.

How you help

Each year, dedicated volunteers work with the Center to help fulfill its mission to support children and adults. The Center understands the importance of volunteers and respects the positive impact they have on every aspect of services.

Volunteer placements are made with the greatest care and consideration. The Center requires that volunteers be at least 16 years of age and in good physical, mental and emotional health.

The Volunteer Services Program seeks to identify the skills and interests of prospective volunteers in order to provide a successful and fulfilling match between the volunteer and the needs of the Center.
