Tax Aide Volunteer

The AARP Tax Aide program helps seniors each year by preparing federal/state tax returns free of charge. Last tax year, we were unable to offer the program due to a lack of volunteers who wanted to become tax preparers. Volunteers must know their way around a computer, take a tax law training in December, pass a test to be certified by the IRS and be willing to work from February 1-April 15, 2023.
