Our mission	Our mission is to aid the epidemic of stray dogs, through rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming.

Opportunities	Volunteer One of the most valuable things our supporters can contribute is their time. Volunteers can participate in a wide range of activities including dog rescue, dog care, veterinary transportation, event staffing, fundraising projects, and more. Reach out if you are interesting in learning more about volunteering! Occasional, Weekly, Monthly 55+, Adults Individuals Event support, Indoor, Outdoor None, On-site, Formal Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends Foster Our network of fosters is always in need of growth! If you have room in your life to care for a dog in need of a second chance, consider applying to be a foster! We tried to create a different kind of foster program, by being supportive and flexible. We provide all food, medical costs, and any support you may need for your foster dog. You don’t have to have the “perfect” home to be a foster with us. Have a dog selective dog already in the home? About us	Rebel Dogs Detroit is a radical rescue collective based in the heart of Detroit, MI. At Rebel Dogs Detroit, we are committed to saving dogs’ lives – not just cleaning up the streets. We don’t euthanize due to undesirable behaviors, we instead experiment with safe handling and enrichment for dogs who are not yet adoptable. As long as they have quality of life, we promise not to give up on them. This is true no kill. We also assist our surrounding community in accessing much needed resources in order to keep their pets. We are committed to addressing the needs of our city’s dogs through a radical socioeconomic framework.
