The Pontiac United Education Coalition (PUEC) is a dedicated organization that brings together parents, teachers, educators, and community stakeholders to collaboratively enhance educational outcomes within the City of Pontiac. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit entity and an integral part of the Pontiac Regional Chamber of Commerce, PUEC is committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment where every student and parent can thrive. Our coalition is driven by a group of passionate leaders who work tirelessly to ensure that educational initiatives and resources are effectively aligned to meet the diverse needs of our community. Through our collective efforts, we aim to create a brighter future for Pontiac by empowering our students and supporting their academic success.

The Pontiac United Education Coalition is deeply committed to reducing poverty by directly addressing the socio-economic and educational inequities that persist within our community. We understand that the path to empowerment and self-sufficiency is through education and skill development. Our holistic approach includes workforce development programs designed to equip individuals with the necessary skills for today’s job market, alongside literacy support to ensure everyone has the foundational abilities needed for lifelong learning. Recognizing the importance of technology and innovation in driving economic growth, we offer STEM-based internships, providing hands-on experience and exposure to careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Additionally, we believe in the power of community and support, offering programs for both parents and students to foster an environment of encouragement, understanding, and mutual growth. Together, we are working tirelessly to uplift our community, ensuring every member has the opportunity to thrive.
