Opportunities

Volunteer

We have flexible hours and appreciate part-time helpers who can contribute as few as 3 HOURS PER WEEK. Just want to help occasionally? We need you. All positions also have substitute positions available for occasional volunteering. If you care about others and have a little time to share, we will provide meaningful ways for you to contribute.

About us

Open Door Outreach Center is a not for profit 501c3 organization relying on the generous support of neighbors and friends to continue its important work- providing resources, food and clothing to those in need. Recognizing the human dignity of all persons, Open Door Outreach Center’s primary mission, in the spirit of interfaith charity, is to provide emergency services of food, clothing and referral information to families in need. Open Door may offer, as funding permits, other special assistance programs and supplemental services meant to improve the quality of life in the community. We service people in Waterford, White Lake, West Bloomfield, Keego Harbor, Sylvan Lake, Commerce, Orchard Lake, Walled Lake, Wolverine Lake and parts of Wixom.
