Neighborhood Service Organization (NSO)

We deliver holistic care and wrap around/safety net services to address social determinants impacting health, education and economic stability.

Giving your time has a way of giving back and it doesn’t take a big commitment to make a BIG impact. Together, with other NSO volunteers, your time adds up and makes a difference for your most vulnerable neighbors.

Through our diverse and comprehensive programs, as well as community partnerships, NSO provides critical services, outreach and assistance to children, youth, adults and families. We work to empower our community’s most vulnerable neighbors and provide healthy and enriching opportunities. Consumers have the power to choose the lives they wish to lead and to help our community strengthen and grow. We work to create healthy communities, new opportunities and provide supportive services for those who need them the most. NSO’s empowering programs and services provide assistance for: older adults with mental illness; children, youth, and adults with developmental disabilities; homeless recovery services; housing development; community outreach for psychiatric emergencies; and volunteer opportunities for individuals, groups, and organizations.
