Our mission	Neighborhood House walks the path toward self-sustainability with our neighbors during times of hardship.

Opportunities	Executive Youth Board To help prepare local high school students to become future leaders and responsible and caring citizens, Neighborhood House offers high school students in the greater Rochester community an opportunity to get involved in serving their community as a member of the youth committee. Weekly, Monthly 21+, 55+ Individuals Event support, Indoor On-site Weekdays, Weekends Events Volunteers support client and fundraising events in many capacities. These events are normally held during the weekends but we do have weekday and weeknight opportunities. The majority of these events support group volunteers. One-time, Occasional, Weekly, Monthly 21+, 55+, Adults Individuals, Groups (2-10) Event support, Indoor, Outdoor On-site Weekdays, Weekends Main Office Volunteers help in the areas of reception, client program assistance, and administrative support. Occasional, Weekly, Monthly 21+, Adults Individuals Office work, Indoor On-site Weekdays Food Pantry The Food Pantry volunteers set up our pantry to prepare for client shopping and then assist clients with their food orders. Occasional, Monthly 21+, 55+, Adults Individuals Physical, Indoor On-site Weekdays

How you help	It takes 100 volunteers to operate Neighborhood House on a weekly basis! Volunteers are an essential part of our organization. We welcome and appreciate your assistance at Neighborhood House. We have volunteers that share their time and talents on a weekly basis or a few times a year.

About us	Neighborhood House serves over 3,000 households per year. In the communities we serve, 25% of families are living paycheck to paycheck or worse. We are the only one-stop-shop human services agency in our area.
