Muskegon South Pierhead Light
Our mission | The mission of the Michigan Lighthouse Conservancy (MLC) is to promote the preservation of Michigan’s lighthouses and lifesaving station structures, along with their artifacts. We accomplish this through education, tower accessibility, interpretive displays and artifact preservation at all of our lighthouses. The Michigan Lighthouse Conservancy owns three lighthouses, including two at Muskegon’s Pere Marquette Beach – Muskegon South Pierhead Light and Muskegon South Breakwater Light; and one on Lake Huron, not currently open to the public, the Alpena Lighthouse (or, as its lovingly known) “Little Red”. |
