Brand Support Coordinator

​This volunteer position assists the organization with branding, marketing, and advertising through various outlets using the resources available. The Branding Support Coordinator will work directly with the Executive Director and Vice President of the Board to ensure MCHS is on target with ways to make the organization more visible. This volunteer will help Increase visibility on social media platforms and research and create initiative to make the organization accessible to others that need the support and that want to help with the cause.

Support Service

This volunteer position (or non-paid internship) assesses client’s needs, situations, and support networks to determine their goals. Following up and evaluating services provided to ensure that they are effective. Promoting human well-being and applying preventative and intervention methods to social problems at individual, group, and community levels while following ethical principles and critical thinking. Experience in program coordination or education in any Human Services related fields is required.

Community Outreach Coordinator

This volunteer position bridges the gap between Miller-Carr Human Services (MCHS) and the community. Nurturing respectful relationships with community agencies, leaders, family and other community stakeholders. Position require local travel and some evening/weekend work. Experience in the initiation, implementation and coordination of work in the community is required.

About us

Miller-Carr Human Services is a nonprofit organization that provides human services for Wayne, Macomb and Oakland Counties. Our primary focus is helping children and families succeed within their community. We empower individuals of all ages to become leaders and provide resources for them to develop and make a positive impact in their city. We seek to teach and mentor individuals to establish a solid foundation that promotes growth and the positive development of children and families, while establishing the kind of networks that allow us to partner with other organizations in the community. Providing support and gaining partnerships with other organizations to address the multiple needs of the youth and their families is a key component to our success.
