Michigan Crossroads Council Boy Scouts of America
| Our mission | To prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law |

| What we do | We train youth in responsible citizenship, character development, and self-reliance through participation in a wide range of outdoor activities, educational programs, and, at older age levels, career-oriented programs in partnership with community organizations. For younger members, the Scout method is part of the program to instill values such as trustworthiness, good citizenship, and outdoors skills, through a variety of activities such as camping, aquatics, and hiking. The BSA is a volunteer led organization that provides value-based education to youth. |

| About us | The Boy Scouts of America (BSA) is one of the largest youth organizations in the United States, dedicated to preparing young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes. Founded in 1910, the BSA provides programs for young people that build character, foster citizenship, and develop personal fitness. Through outdoor adventures, leadership experiences, and community service projects, Scouts learn valuable skills and values that prepare them to thrive in an ever-changing world. With a focus on inclusivity and diversity, the BSA welcomes youth from all backgrounds and abilities, empowering them to become responsible, contributing members of society. |
