Volunteer

We offer volunteer opportunities in the following areas: IT support; building projects; maintenance including carpentry, electrical, and plumbing; solar installation and maintenance; vehicle mechanic; medical and dental; photography and videography; education; and pastor training. **Mercy Air asks that volunteers have an active Christian faith and that, in general, they cover their own expenses. We offer volunteer opportunities from 1 week to 3 months on our base in White River and in the communities we serve.

About us Mercy Air is an Christian-NGO registered as Section 21 organization in South Africa. Since 1991, Mercy Air has been providing aviation services to humanitarian and mission organizations throughout southern Africa. We are based in White River, South Africa. Our international offices include South Africa, United States, Switzerland, and Germany. Mercy Air provides air transport and wider support to mission partners who work in remote areas of Southern Africa.
