Our mission	To interrupt the cycle of poverty through mentoring relationships that improve students’ academic skills, social skills and self esteem.

Opportunities	Mentor Mentoring is a mutually beneficial experience. Both you and your student’s worlds will expand as you enter into relationship with each other. You will play games, encourage self-confidence, read books, and help them start to explore who it is they can become. Weekly Teens, Adults Individuals Indoor On-site, Formal Weekdays Event Planning To help plan and support. Occasional 55+, Adults Individuals, Groups (2-10) Office work, Event support None Weekdays, Evenings Behind the Scenes Support Clerical and data management tasks. Occasional, Weekly 55+, Adults Individuals Office work, Indoor On-site Weekdays

How you help	In addition to mentoring, Affinity Mentoring is always looking for more volunteers to help.

About us	Every child needs caring, trusted adults to lean on and to guide them. At Affinity Mentoring, we train mentors to be one of those people on a child’s team. Through weekly, school based mentoring sessions, mentors and students develop a partnership and friendship, helping students to reach their full potential.
