Marquette Regional History Center

Our mission We believe the preservation of the cultural and physical history of our area brings an understanding to the past and present, and provides a guide for the future. The Marquette Regional History Center not only maintains exhibits, artifacts and a research library, it is a forum for engaging the community and creating links between people.

Ways to help

Volunteer

Volunteers work in areas from researching genealogy, cataloging artifacts and library materials, to assisting with membership and mailings. They also work in Spring and Third, the Museum Store, creating displays and greeting patrons. Some become docents, assisting the Museum Educator with visiting classes, and others give lectures, coordinate fund raisers or help with raising much needed funds for the organization.
