How you help At the heart of our mission is service. Many of the volunteers that donate their time on a daily, weekly or monthly basis are central to our success as a non-profit organization. The hours of service given by volunteers translates into a sense of love and dedication to our goal of compassionately serving every man that comes to our door. The generous gift of time given to Mariners Inn by volunteers insures that we are able to return ninety-two cents of every donated dollar to direct client services.
About us Mariners Inn provides 24 hour residential substance abuse treatment for adult homeless men of Southeastern Michigan, in a professional, compassionate, therapeutic environment conducive to reducing their problems of drug and alcohol addiction, thereby promoting their return to health, independence, and increased self-worth.
