Our mission	Livonia Save Our Youth is a coalition with a mission to educate and empower the community regarding the health and safety of our young people with a focus on alcohol and other drugs.

Opportunities	Volunteer in the Community We need volunteers who are willing to be “out and about” in the community on a regular basis, doing outreach such as: helping educate tobacco retailers, providing prescription drug awareness, and helping at health fairs. Training is provided and the schedule is very flexible! Occasional, Weekly, Monthly 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor, Outdoor Formal Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends Share Your Skills and Talents We need volunteers to help with graphic design, finance and accounting, marketing, etc. Put your professional skills, hobbies, and talents to work for a good cause! One-time, Occasional, Monthly 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor Skilled Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends Become a Member of the Coalition Members participate in monthly meetings to plan programs and activities, share information and resources, and help those in need of assistance. Members also help with special events or committees. We need people from all areas of the community! Monthly 55+, Adults Individuals Office work, Event support, Indoor, Outdoor None, On-site, Formal Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends Join our Speakers Bureau Do you have expertise in substance abuse, or have you experienced drug or alcohol issues and are willing to share your experience? We need volunteers to speak to youth groups, schools, and professional groups. One-time, Occasional 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor, Outdoor Skilled Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends

How you help	We are always seeking enthusiastic volunteers to aid in our efforts, and we would love to have your help!

About us	Everyone is welcome. LSOY is a community substance use disorder and mental health prevention non-profit organization. The coalition includes parents, teens, educators, health care workers, law enforcement, the faith community, and substance abuse professionals. All interested community members are welcome to join us.
