How you help The Civic is a "community theatre", which means that all of the actors, running crews, and ushers needed to present a production are members of the community who volunteer their time. Volunteering at the Civic is fun, and a terrific way to serve the community.
About us For over 90 years, the Civic has been shining the spotlight on our community. A cultural cornerstone in Kalamazoo, the Civic continues with volunteers and its professional staff coming together to create theatrical experiences of the highest caliber!
