Dog Walking/Enrichment/TrainingWalk dogs around the shelter to give them time out of their kennels. Volunteers also help with enrichment toys to then be distributed to dogs in their kennels and basic training. Volunteers attend orientation and shadow one of our volunteers.FosteringFostering is a very rewarding opportunity. Fostering turns the community into an extension of the rescue, gets pets out of the kennel, and tells us their behavior in a home versus the overwhelming shelter environment. |
