Our mission	To give dogs and people a better chance at a life together through rescue, care, adoption and education

Opportunities	Fostering Fostering is a very rewarding opportunity. Fostering turns the community into an extension of the rescue, gets pets out of the kennel, and tells us their behavior in a home versus the overwhelming shelter environment. Occasional, Weekly 21+, 55+ Individuals, Families Indoor, Outdoor None, On-site Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends Kennel Maintenance Volunteers help out with maintenance tasks around the kennel to make sure everything runs smoothly and safely. Occasional, Monthly Adults Individuals Indoor, Outdoor None, On-site Weekdays, Weekends Fundraising and Marketing Volunteers help with planning and preparation for fundraising events and help get the word out about the rescue and special events. Occasional, Monthly 55+, Adults Individuals Event support, Indoor None, On-site Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends Dog Walking/Enrichment/Training Walk dogs around the shelter to give them time out of their kennels. Volunteers also help with enrichment toys to then be distributed to dogs in their kennels and basic training. Volunteers attend orientation and shadow one of our volunteers. Weekly, Monthly 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor, Outdoor Formal Weekdays, Weekends Transportation/Off-site adoption Transportation volunteers assist with picking up/dropping off dogs going from the shelter to vet visits, to new foster homes, and to adoption events. Occasional, Weekly, Monthly 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor, Outdoor None Weekdays, Weekends
