About us Founded in 1962, the Iron County Historical Museum is Upper Michigan's largest local museum and is located in Caspian, Michigan on nearly 10 acres of land, a former mine site. The museum includes Heritage, history, arts & creativity, genealogy, ancestry research & more from historical upper Michigan.
