How you help

Holly Area Youth Assistance relies on the energy and enthusiasm of volunteers!  Become involved, meet new people, and make a difference by volunteering.

Volunteers work with the professional caseworker to plan and sponsor local parenting and prevention programs for youth and their families. These programs are designed to promote positive behaviors and strengthen family relationships in our community.

About us

Holly Area Youth Assistance is a PREVENTION program. HAYA has been supporting youth and families in the Holly area since 1963.  We are a volunteer-driven, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and one of 26 Youth Assistance programs in Oakland County.

Holly Area Youth Assistance provides confidential, short-term, family-centered casework servicesand referral services for youth, 17 years of age or younger, and their families who live in Holly or attend Holly area schools. Referrals are accepted from school personnel, police, parents, and other community sources. A professional caseworker assesses the needs of each child and may provide casework services, connect families with available resources, or make appropriate referrals.

HAYA is a valuable and effective service to the youths and families it serves. Giving support to youths (and their families) in various situations enriches them and the community.
