Camp Courage Junior Counselor

Through the use of tailored activities and trained counselors, Camp Courage provides a safe environment for children and teens to express their thoughts and feelings and recognize that they are not alone in their grief. Teens age 15-19 may participate as a junior counselor, a program that promotes a healthy expression of feelings, focuses on healing through tailored activities, and fosters leadership skills.

Hospice Volunteer

All Harbor Hospice volunteers go through a comprehensive training. During the training, they see the many ways that volunteer help is used throughout the organization. Trained volunteers are then given the opportunity to choose how they would like to help. Our volunteers provide countless talents, skills and helping hands.

About usHarbor Hospice provides hospice care to residents in the five-county area of West Michigan who have received a terminal diagnosis. Founded in 1982, we provide specialized health care with expertise in pain and symptom management, emotional support and spiritual care, as well as bereavement counseling for family members anticipating or following the death of their loved one. The goal of Harbor Hospice is to provide the opportunity for dignity, choices and control for each patient and family, this includes Pediatric hospice care if needed.
