Ready to be part of something special and build a house from the ground up? Then we’re ready for you!
Lenawee Habitat homes are built primarily with volunteer labor. Habitat build days are an opportunity to see our mission come to life as we put God’s love into action by bringing people together to build homes, community, and hope.
Habitat builds offer volunteer opportunities for individuals and groups, on weekends and weekdays, for the novice or the pro. So whether you’re a retired construction worker who isn’t quite ready to hang up the hammer or a busy mom who wants to squeeze in some service on the weekend, we have a place for you—working side-by-side with a future homeowner as they work to build a more secure future.
Saturday build days are a popular way for newcomers to get involved and are also great for those who can only volunteer occasionally. Saturday builds begin at 10:00 a.m. and end at 3 p.m.
We are always looking for weekday volunteers. Our weekday builds are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Weekday builds are also a popular opportunity for volunteer groups.
