Opportunities

Foster

You provide the love and training. We provide the vet care and supplies needed to add a foster pet to your home. Fostering is such a rewarding experience and has such a positive impact on the animal you bring into your home.

Volunteer

There are many, many things that you can do and, of course, you can volunteer as many or as little hours as you would like. Depending on what you are interested in, we ask that you schedule a mini orientation session with one of our trained volunteers. Or, if you would like to help out at adoption events, let us know and we can plan a visit for you with a seasoned volunteer to show you the ropes.

AWS Guiding Values are: To prevent animals going to kill shelters, research facilities, and animal control. To increase adoptions of unwanted animals to a loving forever home. To educate the public regarding the value of the animals in their lives. To increase public awareness about the importance of spaying/neutering their pets. To provide training and rehabilitation for the animals with adoption barriers.
