Window Team

The Window Team has rebuilt by hand 290 of the original 355 double-sash windows, with the generous support of donors in the Adopt-A-Window program and the donation of glass from Guardian Glass, Inc. In the winter months, they work on restoring the century-old floors. If you’d like to help, either by working on the restoration or by adopting a window, let us know!

How you help We want YOU to help preserve the Ford Piquette Avenue Plant! Our success is built on the amazing volunteers who offer their time and skills to our nonprofit museum.
About us The Ford Piquette Avenue Plant was organized in 2000 as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization for the purpose of preserving the Plant and keeping it from being demolished. Open year round as a Museum and education center, the plant now attracts visitors from around the world. It provides special programs and events for bus tours, families, and scores of people attending public and private events from car shows to weddings.
