Our mission	To preserve of the birthplace of the Model T and to interpret and celebrate Detroit’s automotive heritage and spirit of innovation.

Opportunities	General Volunteer We always need help with our special programs and events, as well as with daily tasks. Occasional, Weekly, Monthly 55+, Adults Individuals Office work, Event support, Indoor On-site Weekdays, Weekends Tour Guide We’re always looking for enthusiastic tour guides with a flair for history. Help us tell the story of this historic factory! Weekly, Monthly 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor, Outdoor Formal Weekdays, Weekends Window Team The Window Team has rebuilt by hand 290 of the original 355 double-sash windows, with the generous support of donors in the Adopt-A-Window program and the donation of glass from Guardian Glass, Inc. In the winter months, they work on restoring the century-old floors. If you’d like to help, either by working on the restoration or by adopting a window, let us know! How you help	We want YOU to help preserve the Ford Piquette Avenue Plant! Our success is built on the amazing volunteers who offer their time and skills to our nonprofit museum.

About us	The Ford Piquette Avenue Plant was organized in 2000 as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization for the purpose of preserving the Plant and keeping it from being demolished. Open year round as a Museum and education center, the plant now attracts visitors from around the world. It provides special programs and events for bus tours, families, and scores of people attending public and private events from car shows to weddings.
