Our mission	To enrich community life through the arts.

Opportunities	Facility Are you “hands-on”? Do you like to fix or maintain? Facility volunteers help with facility maintenance, do light carpentry, maintain grounds water plants, change lightbulbs. These volunteers like to “do.” Occasional Teens, Adults Individuals, Groups (2-10) Physical, Indoor, Outdoor None, On-site, Skilled Weekdays, Weekends Special Events Like working with people? Like to cook? Our events are volunteer-staffed, and we couldn’t host them without the help of many hands. Duties might include greeters, event set-up and clean-up, refreshments, photography, or committee involvement. Occasional, Monthly Teens, 55+, Adults Individuals Event support, Indoor, Outdoor None, On-site Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends Administrative We’re always looking for a few good hands to help around the office. Project by project, monthly or weekly. Duties might include mailings, data entry, phone answering, class sign-up, receptionist, proof-reading, or poster/flyer distribution. Weekly, Monthly 55+, Adults Individuals Office work, Indoor On-site Weekdays Education and Programming Want to learn more? Have an interest in art? Want to get your hands in the “art”? These volunteers may assist with adult or children’s classes, help out at Thoreson Farm, act as a docent for various exhibits, help out in the gallery, or serve on a committee. About us	Serving the Glen Lake area in Leelanau County, the GAAC offers year-round enriching art and entertainment with something for everyone. The organization is a vital, active, multidimensional center for the arts, art making, and creativity – thanks to our many volunteers and staff. Join us for the variety of events and classes we have to offer. New members, volunteers, and visitors are always welcome.
