Elara Caring Hospice

Our in-home hospice care is centered on comfort, symptom relief and caring for the whole family. We meet you where you are, physically and emotionally, and walk alongside you every step of the way.

Elara Caring, one of the nation’s largest providers of home-based care, is looking for compassionate volunteers willing to donate their time to provide exceptional end-of-life care to local hospice patients and their families.

Volunteers are needed to visit with patients and engage them in activities such as playing music, singing, working on a craft project, sharing a special day, or simply providing companionship through listening, talking or holding a hand. Volunteers can sometimes provide respite care, allowing family members to take a much-needed break.

There are also volunteer opportunities within the Elara Caring Hospice office, assisting staff with mailing, filing, data entry and other special projects.

When facing a serious illness, the focus often shifts from curing the disease to making each day as comfortable and meaningful as possible. Hospice care at home provides compassionate end-of-life support in the place most people feel safest: home.
