Our mission	Our mission is to connect people with disabilities to resources and opportunities while building communities where everyone can participate, contribute, and belong.

Opportunities	Office Volunteers Office Volunteers assist with special projects in the office, such as filing, surveys, etc. Weekly, Monthly 55+, Adults Individuals Office work On-site Weekdays Peer Volunteers Peer Volunteers visit individuals who are often isolated and at high risk of being institutionalized, needing social support to remain independent in the community. Weekly, Monthly 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor, Outdoor Formal Weekdays, Weekends Access Volunteers Access Volunteers support DNL staff members in evaluating local businesses and the barriers they present to people with disabilities. The volunteer will take measurements and record them, and may also take photos. Weekly, Monthly 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor, Outdoor Formal Weekdays, Weekends Public Relations Volunteers Public Relations Volunteers represent DNL in the community while manning tables and distributing information about the organization at Health Fairs, Expos, and other public events. Occasional 55+, Adults Individuals Event support, Indoor, Outdoor On-site, Formal Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends DNL Associate Board DNL Associate Board members are young adults and are often college students. The Associate Board supports the organization in fund-raising and special activities. Occasional, Weekly, Monthly 21+, Adults Individuals Event support, Indoor, Outdoor None, On-site Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends

How you help	DNL volunteers assist staff members in expanding and increasing the quality of services we provide to people with disabilities.

About us	We understand how frustrating it is to fully participate in an inaccessible community. That is why we help people access disability resources. We have created custom plans for thousands of people. We’ve also helped hundreds of companies figure out ways to be more inclusive.
