About us Detroit Area Pre-College Engineering Program (DAPCEP) is a nonprofit organization with more than 40 years of experience partnering with universities, training programs, and K-12 school systems in order to connect youth to the best science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) educational experiences in Michigan and beyond. DAPCEP students are between the ages of 4 and 18. They attend public, private, charter, and home schools and love to explore new environments and make life-long friends.
