Our mission

The Covenant House mission is centered and built on community, where youth, staff, volunteers, and partners love one another unconditionally, respect each other absolutely, and dedicate ourselves to a covenant of compassion and hope.
Opportunities

Clothing Closet Volunteer (Detroit)

Volunteers are needed in our Clothing Closet to help sort and organize donated clothing and hygiene items. Volunteers will also assist our residents in picking out items they need. We are currently looking for volunteers for Tuesday, Thursday or Fridays between 9:30 AM and 4 PM. This can be an individual or group volunteer experience.

Associate Board

Covenant House Michigan Associate Board (CHMAB) is a group of like-minded young professionals who work together to make a positive impact on the residents at Covenant House Michigan through fundraising, social events, and resident activity nights.

Covenant House Michigan provides youth facing homelessness with shelter, educational and vocational programs. We build a bridge to hope for young people facing homelessness and survivors of trafficking through unconditional love, absolute respect and relentless support. Our doors are open 24/7 and our programs are designed to empower young people to rise and overcome adversity, today and in the future.
