Our mission	Our vision is to create a science playground that captivates a community and lifelong learners.

Opportunities	Outreach Social media, website, graphic design, printing, passing out pamphlets and flyers, and even inviting people to VIP tours of the center! Occasional, Weekly, Monthly 55+, Adults Individuals Virtual, Office work, Indoor None, On-site Weekdays, Weekends Exhibits (Building/Maintenance) Help build new and exciting exhibits in our center and help maintain existing ones. Carpentry, engineering and electronic skills welcome here! We love dreamers too, bring your ideas! Occasional 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor Skilled Weekdays, Weekends Cleaning Help From daily vacuuming and wiping tables, to weekly shelf dusting and regular toy sanitization, we would love assistance keeping the center sparkling and germ free! Weekly, Monthly 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor None, On-site Weekdays, Weekends Experience Advisory Team Looking for input on programs and curriculum as well as exhibits and the general COG experience. Parents and teachers this is a great outlet for your wisdom and expertise! Occasional, Monthly 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor None Weekdays, Weekends Grant Writing and Fundraising Keeping this space low cost is important to us and as a nonprofit, we rely on grants and fundraising efforts to grow. Grant writers and well connected or outgoing friends helpful here! Occasional 55+, Adults Individuals Virtual, Indoor Skilled Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends Board Member Get into the nitty gritty! Be a part of this growing non profit! Lawyers, accountants, business owners, realtors, librarians, teachers, parents, professionals, and of course dreamers, are welcome here! Occasional, Monthly 21+, 55+ Individuals Indoor Skilled Weekdays, Weekends Special Events From festivals to expos, we need extra hands to transport materials, set up, engage the public, tear down, and return materials. Many hands make light work–and happy vision casters! Occasional 55+, Adults Individuals Event support None, On-site Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends Discovery Center Guide Be a tour guide of exploration! Greet guests, operate the check-in counter and cash register, engage visitors and help them explore the exhibits we have. Animal care and handling are really helpful tasks in the center too.
