Opportunities

Are you looking for a meaningful way to make a difference in our community? Join us in delivering FOCUS Hope Food Boxes to approximately 20 homebound seniors once a month!

What you’ll do:

Deliver food boxes weighing 25-30 lbs to seniors in need, ensuring they receive essential nutrition for the month.

When:

The second Friday of each month. You can volunteer for one month or sign up to deliver each month.

Where:

Routes are within the local community and will be provided in advance

Why volunteer:

Your time and effort will directly impact the lives of seniors facing nutritional challenges and depend on these resources, ensuring the have the support and care they deserve.

Bring Joy to Seniors at Themed Monthly Luncheons!

Looking for a fun and rewarding way to make a difference? Join us as a volunteer for our Monthly Themed Senior Luncheons, held on Fridays from 11 AM to 2 PM. These special events are filled with festive themes like Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Luau, Western, and more!

Each luncheon includes a delicious meal, entertainment, raffles, and the opportunity for seniors to connect and celebrate together.

Volunteer Roles:

* Check-In: Greet seniors with a warm smile as they arrive.
* Plating & Serving Meals: Help serve a delicious lunch in a welcoming and efficient way.
* Raffles: Assist with setting up and running our fun raffle drawings.
* Clean-Up: Lend a hand in tidying up after the event.
* Socializing: Spend time chatting and connecting with our seniors—they love the company!

Details:

* Time: 11 AM – 2 PM
* Location: 3350Seyburn Auburn Hills Community Center
* Frequency: Volunteer for one or multiple months throughout the year—flexibility is encouraged!

Join Our Rake & Run Program!

Looking for a meaningful way to give back and make a difference in your community? Sign up for Rake & Run, a program that helps homebound seniors by raking and beautifying their yards. This is a fantastic team-building opportunity for individuals, families, friends, and coworkers to come together and lend a helping hand.

When: Held in Spring and Fall, with flexible dates and times to fit your schedule.

What You’ll Do: Volunteers will rake leaves, clear debris, and help restore the yards of seniors who can no longer do this work themselves.
Supplies Provided: We’ll supply the rakes, bags, and other essentials—you just bring your energy and, if possible, your own garden gloves.
