Care Collective of Southwest Michigan
Our mission | By providing barrier-free access to diapers, baby wipes, and menstrual products for young people, Care Collective supports multigenerational well-being. Care Collective distributes products through partner organizations with a focus on collaborations with BIPOC and LGBTQIA-led organizations. |

How you help | Care Collective is always accepting donations. A financial contribution can support us as we purchase the products families need. Because of the bulk purchasing options we have available to us, we can make your dollar go twice as far as retail. A product drive is another great way to provide products while engaging your community. You can collect diapers and period products at your school or work and we can help get them to the people who need them. If you’re looking for other ways to support young people and their families, we are always in need of volunteers willing to count, sort, and bag up products so they are ready to be distributed to menstruators and caregivers. You can reach out to schedule a private event, or join our volunteer list to be notified of public events. Events typically run for two hours and have been 10 and 20 people. |

About us | Care Collective was founded by a group of caregivers, community organizers, and nonprofit leaders who identified the need for diapers and period supplies to be available in spaces where people felt safe, welcome, and prioritized. We partner with community and grassroots organizations to ensure accessible spaces for BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and immigrant families and young people. We know that consistent access to diapers and period supplies for young people relieves stress for the whole family. With one less thing to worry about, families have greater capacity for connection and joy! |
