Camper Check-in and Camp Closing Volunteers

Each Monday morning throughout the summer, we welcome in a new group of campers – close to 450 each week! Volunteer opportunities include parking cars, greeting and directing camper families, and handing out nametags (2 hours/week, mid June-mid August) In addition to Monday mornings, we also welcome volunteers to help greet and direct camper families as they arrive for the camp closing programs that are typically on either Friday evenings or Saturday mornings, depending on the week.

Aid for Campers with Special Needs

Throughout the summer, Camp Geneva will have a number of campers who have physical or cognitive challenges and need a little extra attention to make it possible for them to participate in the camp program. Your special attention can enable these campers to join in the camp activities and have a week filled with fun, laughter, recreation, and opportunities to learn about the love of Christ.

How you help From greeting families at check-in to working with campers directly, or from sharing the GENEVA story in your community to sharing the resources God has entrusted to you, there are plenty of ways you can make a real and lasting difference in the lives of children and adults. We would love to have you involved at GENEVA.
About us Throughout the year, GENEVA uses its facilities and incredible setting on Lake Michigan to provide an environment in which groups and individuals can step out of the busyness of life to refresh and reassess their priorities in life and work. Our retreat ministry is here to support the groups on site by creating a space where groups can interact, reflect, rest, have fun, and seek clarity and direction.
