Our mission	To empower youth in West Michigan through educational and recreational experiences that promote social responsibility, encourage academic success, and support the development of healthy self-esteem.

Opportunities	Share your Love of the Arts, Sports, or Nature Teach or assist with our camper workshops during summer camp on Lake Michigan, put on a kid-friendly dance, drama, music, or other arts performance for our campers, or share your expertise with our staff to help them carry out workshops with excellence! Occasional, Monthly Teens, Adults Individuals, Groups (2-10) Physical, Indoor, Outdoor On-site Weekdays, Weekends Help out in our Grand Rapids office Like to organize? Come work with us to tidy up our office and program spaces, help out with filing, cleaning, and other admin projects. Weekly, Monthly Teens, Adults Individuals Office work, Indoor On-site Weekdays, Weekends Get your hands dirty at camp on Lake Michigan Lend your construction skills to help with repairs or new building projects, gather a group for a half or full day to clean-up camp’s property, or adopt a cabin to clean-up and get ready for campers. Weekly, Monthly Teens, Adults Individuals, Groups (2-10) Physical, Outdoor Formal Weekdays, Weekends Share your Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) Skills Share your technology or engineering skills with our property committee to help improve and steward our land, showcase your profession through hands-on learning at a Saturday day camp, or lead a science experiment at our STEM Squad after school program in Grand Rapids. How you help	Whether you are an individual with a desire to share a special talent or skill with our campers, or you represent a group with a desire to make an impact on our camp property or day-to-day operations, we have year-round opportunities for you to get involved!

About us	At Camp Blodgett, our goal is to provide a fun, enriching summer camp experience accessible to all kids in Kent & Ottawa Counties. Summer camp fees are based on a child’s family size and income. In addition, Camp Blodgett offers free school year programs.
