Ways to help

Jackson Cat Project

The Jackson Cat Project puts on spay and neuter clinics and we enjoy collaborating with community volunteers and veterinary professionals. This project is 100% volunteer driven. In addition, we encourage volunteerism at the Jackson County Animal Shelter and at the Cascades Humane Society. Dog walkers, cat visitors, and general maintenance are always appreciated, and both of these organizations host Jackson Cat Project events.

How you help You can be the difference between life and death for a beloved pet in the Jackson community.
About us Barkley & LuLu Foundation provides grants to Jackson residents for medical care for their pets based on a request from their family veterinarian. The grant is a financial contribution toward veterinary care, and without the necessary treatment, the pet may not recover. We advocate the importance of sterilization of cats in our community. At the population level, we have a surplus of 3,000+ cats and kittens each year on average. Our goal is to promotesterilization through our annual community events, providing free spay and neuter procedures to community residents for their cats, as well as assisting our local shelters with feline spay and neuter initiatives.
