Our mission	Angels’ Place offers an environment of love and compassion, coupled with an atmosphere of acceptance, dignity, friendship, and the potential for personal growth and independence. We are a Christ-centered community that enhances the lives of those we serve and their families by providing loving homes and professional support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Opportunities	Resident Relationship Volunteers offer companionship, often teaching or sharing a special talent or interest, with an individual resident or all residents of a specific home. Resident-volunteer relationships develop while enjoying time together. Volunteer visits may include doing crafts, art projects, puzzles, playing games, cooking, playing Wii, enjoying sports, planting an herb garden, playing musical instrument or sharing a love of cars. Occasional 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor None, On-site Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends Volunteer Programs We embrace the diversity of volunteers that share time with us. We believe that each has unique gifts to share and we carefully match volunteers to the needs at Angels’ Place. Relatively large projects can often be broken down in order to engage an adult with technical skills & experience, as well as to focus the energy of an especially young group. One-time, Occasional, Weekly, Monthly Children, Teens, 21+, 55+, Adults, Child with Adult Individuals, Groups (2-10), Groups (10+), Corporate Teams, Families Virtual, Office work, Event support, Indoor, Outdoor On-site Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends Enrichment Volunteers facilitate & assist day program. Availability of at least 2 hours, Monday through Thursday. A smile & willingness to share time with residents! Occasional, Weekly 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor None, On-site Weekdays Home Maintenance Volunteers are on call & respond to home manager requests for minor repairs. Seasonal Yard Maintenance Volunteers. Spring & Fall Yard Clean Up Volunteers. Special Projects include Eagle Scouts & skilled corporate groups. One-time, Occasional Teens, 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor, Outdoor On-site, Skilled Weekdays, Weekends Pantry Stocking, shelving and organizing goods, picking up donated goods, filling orders. Mailing Volunteers fold, stuff, label & stamp all mailed event invitations, etc. Technology & Social Media Support Volunteers. One-time, Occasional 55+, Adults Individuals, Groups (2-10) Office work, Indoor None, On-site Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends

How you help	Volunteers are integral to operations at Angels’ Place & provide a network of resources to Angels’ Place residents!

About us	We serve people with developmental disabilities who have a primary diagnosis of intellectual disability, who may need help in order to cope with common life demands and who may not be able to complete some or many of the tasks of daily living that are typically expected of people in their same age group. But most of all, we serve individuals. Each of our residents is unique with their own amazing stories to tell, and they’d love for you to get to know them!
