Our mission

The eradication of autoimmune diseases and the alleviation of suffering and the socioeconomic impact of autoimmunity through fostering and facilitating collaboration in the areas of education, public awareness, research, and patient services in an effective, ethical, and efficient manner
Opportunities

Advocacy

Periodically at both the state and federal levels, legislation is proposed that impacts the autoimmune community. Volunteers can sign up through our VoterVoice portal to get notification when an issue comes up so that they can contact their representatives regarding the issues at hand.

Fundraising

AARDA relies on its grassroots fundraisers to help support and continue our mission. Fundraisers can join or host a walk, add a fundraising aspect to any event, get their coworkers involved with workplace giving, or even host a fundraiser through Facebook.

Awareness

AARDA is the only national charity dedicated to bringing a national focus to autoimmunity as a category of disease and a major public health and women’s health issue. AARDA raises awareness and funding for critical research aimed at solving the underlying immune issues that link all autoimmune disorders. Our goal is to eradicate these serious and life-threatening diseases while providing help and hope through patient services.
